About our approach to contemporary wooden furniture

Our studio was born from the shared curiosity of designers, artisans, and architects who wanted to slow down the way furniture is conceived and built. Instead of treating individual objects as isolated products, we see each piece as part of an evolving domestic or professional landscape. This perspective pushes us to think beyond dimensions and finishes, and to consider light, movement, and daily rituals. Every project begins with listening: we ask about the way you cook, host, work, or unwind, and we observe where existing furniture falls short or feels visually heavy.

Our workshop team combines traditional joinery skills with precise contemporary tooling. Classic techniques like mortise-and-tenon joints, dovetail drawers, and hand-scribed edges sit alongside modern machinery that ensures repeatable accuracy and efficient material usage. This balance allows us to create pieces that feel characterful yet refined, where subtle tool marks and natural grain variations are celebrated rather than hidden. We take time to experiment with details such as edge profiles, leg angles, and shadow lines, because these elements collectively shape how a table or cabinet feels in a room.

Located in Donostia-San Sebastián, our studio is influenced by the surrounding coastline, hills, and historic urban fabric. The interplay of stone, light, and weathered timber that characterizes the city often finds its echo in our work: calm tones, robust construction, and a gentle presence. We work on projects of various scales, from compact hallway consoles to full apartment and café fit-outs, always applying the same attentive attitude.
